LIGHTJET PRINTING PROCESS

Printing at 300dpi, (that’s an apparent 4000 dpi halftone resolution!) Unlike InkJet, LightJets produce a true continuous tone photographic print. The LightJet 5000 and LightJet 430 are capable of printing on traditional archival color photographic papers. The LightJet 5000 prints large format digital photo prints up to 50 inches x 96 inches. The Lightjet 430, the latest technology from Oce, is able to image your photo print up to 50 inches x 120 inches in one piece as a color photographic print. Digital Black and White files are printed on color paper, rendering a beautiful grayscale print. The Light Jet 430 ia a true production digital large format photographic laser printer.
